About Me

Hey I’m Julia, a self taught multi medium artist ranging from large scale sculpture to clothing to digital art.

I am originally from the north of England but I’m now based in Te Ika-a-Māui, New Zealand.

My art focuses primarily on the fantastical and alien aspects of existence as experienced by the feminine.

I draw my inspiration from the meaning I create from my experiences in life and the emotions that follow. I use that energy to channel in to my work and create the pieces that you see here. 

Creating worlds, characters and stories in the form of art has been an instinct of mine ever since I was a child.

I believe that artists are the conduit through which the universe is able expresses itself in this 3D reality. Something every single human is capable of being.

Self proclaimed artists are just those of us with a predisposition to remember that ability which lives inside us all.
